Passionate followers of the actress are demanding that a person who leaped a barrier and seized the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating video shows the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past photographers and lunging at Grande while the actors walked down a promenade flanked by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being detained", though legal records revealed that he was set to appear on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

History of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account includes videos of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last December.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is evidently a legal violation," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user wrote.

Followers Show Disapproval Over Ariana's Well-being

Many supporters accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more message on Instagram.

Some supporters also questioned security officers at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals called for online networks to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Response and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was touched by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.
